Doxinate for Doctors/Doxinate - Unique features

  • Doxinate is in fact a Anti-histamine clinically used as a antinauseant/antiemetic specifically indicated, prescribed and labelled for the management of nausea and/or vomiting of pregnancy (NVP)

  • Over the course of time, Doxinate has been recognized as the drug of choice for NVP by the medical community: SOGC (Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of ), MOTHERISK (Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto), NORD (National Organization for Rare Disorders)

  • Doxinate has been available for over 25 years and prescribed to over 33 million women

  • Doxinate is the most studied medicine for use during pregnancy. Its vitamin B6 and antihistamine combination has been included in 25 epidemiological studies (2,00,000 women) and 2 meta-analyses. All confirmed Doxinate's safety in pregnancy

  • Doxinate scored the highest safety rating "A" in Briggs' Reference Guide to fetal and neonatal risk (see below) and is the only product to score such a rating

  • Doxinate delayed release formula and dosing schedule provides 24-hour control of symptoms of nausea and/or vomiting. This will prevent the condition to progress to a more serious level called hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) that requires hospitalization to rehydrate the patient

  • When administered at the early stage of nausea and/or vomiting, Doxinate alleviates the symptoms of NVP while improving quality of life and the ability to conduct activities of daily living

  • Because of potential drowsiness, Doxinate should be prescribed with caution to patients who must drive automobiles or operate machinery
