Doxinate for Patients/Doxinate

Doxinate is the only prescription medication specifically indicated for the treatment of nausea and vomiting of pregnancy. It provides the anti-nauseant and anti-vomiting action of two different ingredients: Doxylamine succinate (an antihistamine) and Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6).

Studies have shown that Doxinate is safe for your baby throughout your pregnancy. This medication has been available for over 25 years in India and taken by millions of pregnant women.

Doxinate's delayed release formula and dosing schedule provide 24-hour control of symptoms of nausea and/or vomiting. This may prevent the situation to progress to a more serious condition called hyperemesis gravidarum (excessive vomiting that requires hospitalization). Doxinate tablets should be taken regularly for optimal effect. Your prescribing health professional may individualize your dosage schedule according to timing, duration, severity and frequency of your symptoms. It is important to follow your doctors recommendations for the treatment to be most effective. Taking Doxinate as directed by your health professional will help you alleviate your symptoms while improving your quality of life and your ability to conduct activities of daily living.
